Importing your files

Importing from within Judah

Files can be imported into nearly any folder in Judah

  1. To begin importing your files, select the folder you would like the file to be in.
  2. In the Items Grid Toolbar, click the "Folder Actions" button and select "Import Files" in the menu that opens.
  3. A new window will open in which you can navigate your Windows folders and files, and select any you would like to import.
  4. Once you have found and selected the file you would like to import, click "Open"

Dragging files into Judah from Windows

  1. Locate the files you would like to import.
  2. Click and drag the files over the Judah window.
  3. Drag the file over the Items Grid - the list of items in a selected folder.
  4. Release your mouse when it's over the location you want the data, and it will start importing.

Certain areas of Judah cannot have data added to them. The mouse icon will indicate the areas you cannot add data.

Using "Send to Judah" from Windows

In a Windows Explorer window or your desktop, you can right click most files or folders and import them to Judah using "Send to"

  1. Locate the files you would like to import.
  2. Right-click the file, and in the menu that appears select "Send to"
  3. In the sub menu that opens, find "Judah"
  4. A new window will open, allowing you to select where you want to import the files. Select a location and click "Import"
