Sharing a mail account

In order to give or remove access to a mail account, you must be the owner of that account.


Sharing a mail account

By sharing a mail account with another user, they will be able to see all incoming emails for the account and can send emails through it.

  1. First go into the Email screen by clicking the "Email" button at the top of Judah.
  2. In the folders pane, select the account you want to share with another user.
  3. Drag and drop the account over to a user in your Users List or right-click, and select "Share." If you do not see the user you want to share the account to, you can use the Filter in the users list to find them.
  4. A confirmation window will appear asking you if you would like the user to be able to view the email history of the account
  5. Select Yes or No, and the account will be shared.

Editing the permissions of an account

You can remove access to an account that you own per user, give ownership to the account, or set who is able to see the Email History in the emails of that account.

  1. First go into the Email screen by clicking the "Email" button at the top of Judah.
  2. In the folders pane, right-click the email account you want to edit the permissions of.
  3. In the menu that appears, select "Edit Email Account Settings"
  4. The email account settings of that account will appear. Select the "Permissions" tab at the top of the window.
  5. You will see two sets of users, those who have access to the account and those who do not. Select a user and click "Add" or "Remove" respective to whether you would like the user to have access or not.
  6. Click the "History" box next to a user under "Users with Access" to allow or restrict access to the history of individual emails in the account.
  7. To transfer ownership click the button below the "Owner" label, and select one of the users with access.
